Jimmy would love to show travelers all of these fantastic secret hidden spots that they otherwise would not usually see when visiting his country. Jimmy however has had no option to realize his dream. The solotrekker foundation The Foundation was established in the end of 2007 by Daan Spits & Jaap van ‘t Kruis (both from The Netherlands). The Foundation maintains the vision to assist local people in developing countries with their dreams & ideas of starting their own business, to become achievable and successful. We believe that everybody should have the opportunity to be able to live out their dreams and make them come true. The Foundation believes it should work in the most sustainable way that is possible. That is to maintain social structure of the communities, enhance economical sustainability (and growth!) and most importantly sustain the preservation of local cultures, values and principles.Jaap and Daan, of The Foundation combine their strengths of their own expertise and experience into achieving these goals. They specialize in multi-media, (sustainable) business and film production. They work together with the local people and help them through assistance and guidance in realizing their dreams.
